Permission service is missing after upgrading

Symptom

After upgrading from an older version to Resource Central  (RC) 4.1 SR3, the Permission service is missing.

Cause

The version number of Permission service is 1.0.0.0. Therefore, it cannot be registered after upgrading RC to version 4.1 SR3.

Resolution

This issue can be resolved by doing a repair for the software. You can do this one of the following options:

 - Launch the RC installer and select [Repair]

 - Or open Control Panel --> Programs and Features, right click Resource Central and select [Repair].
