Recommendation
The default implementation of SQL Compact Edition with the product is intended for easy demo deployment, and might suffice for a smaller customer. We recommend to use SQL Express/Web or a fully licensed SQL version to achieve better performance, and we do support migration of data from the initial SQL Compact Edition database when an SQL option is configured.
For more details about the different SQL editions, please have a look at this brochure.
