Cannot book an instant meeting after upgrade to Digital Sign Service 4.2

Symptom

End user cannot book instant meetings on door signs (OK button is unclickable).

This error might occur in the following cases:

• Install Digital Sign Service (DSS) for Server 4.2 from scratch, run with DSS Client 4.2 and select template Polished (1280 x 800).
• Upgrade DSS for Server from 4.1 to 4.2, run with DSS Client 4.2 and select template Polished (1280 x 800).

Resolution

When you cannot book an instance meeting on Door Sign. Please do the following steps:

• Navigate to Device Properties, click on the icon beside the Template to open Template Editor.

• Find “Create Meeting View” node under DoorSign Home View.
• Continue to find “OK button” under “Box Absolute Layout”.
• Change the “Input Transparent” of “OK button” to False then save the template.

Note: This change only applies on the template Polished (1280x800) when end users cannot book an instant meeting.
